Went out to start the car the other day and discovered the battery was flat. Had the break down out, the jump started  the car with no problem (so that ruled out the starter motor and solenoid). I put a multi meter on it and it was putting close to 14.7v in (so not alternator) I sat with car running to put charge in the  battery. I disconnected the negative lead, checked what the battery was holding 12.85v. The breakdown person said to perform a parasitic draw test, so I did that and found no problem. Was told to leave negative lead disconnected, the battery should hold its charge with that lead disconnected. Went out the following morning and it had lost charge again, it had dropped down to 12.08v. Just managed to start the car, went for a longish drive. I then disconnected the positive as well, just in case. This morning it was at 12.42v Took the battery to Euro Car Parts for them to put it on a drop test. Had replacement battery. Been a nasty week all in all. Damp and cold really affects things. Feeling like a prisoner in my own home. Feel like I'm turning a corner, must see the doctor next week, and think about my cars MOT. Week before last a friend came over and filled in the PIP review form for me, wonder what the DWP will decide. Things have got worse. Waiting for an injection to start that will stop things from getting worse, but been with this damn cold for over a month now, and my left lung has more scarring in it, so not looking good for starting the bi-weekly injections right now. Feel like i'm not really living at the moment, just feel like i'm existing. I'm feeling fed up, so much in the world I want to do, but can't do it, this is no life really is it? Thank goodness for friends popping by, my father and online shopping.

#BREXIT isn’t far off, but Mrs. May’s plan crashed out during a vote in Parliament. At the moment lots of companies are planning on moving from the UK, and those that are staying are planning on scaling back. UK regions such as Wales , Northern Ireland and Scotland would have been entitled to a 22 per cent raise in support from the EU under the budget plans for the 2021-2027 period, up from the €10.6 billion or £9.3 billion that the UK receives in the current 2014-2020 budget package, according to the rep ort, by a network association of European regions. This funding loss will be most keenly felt in two regions: Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly , and West Wales and the Welsh Valleys . These are classed as ‘less developed regions’, and currently receive most of the UK’s regional funding. Hate crimes seem to be ramping up in the USA in the last few days The synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, eleven people killed, my thoughts and best wishes are with all who are affected. The pipe bombs sent out to various people by a serial mail bomber, again my thoughts and wishes are with all who have been affected. I don’t know why the world is in such a mess where hate crimes are concerned. Where is it going to end? We should all love and care for one another regardless of race, religion or beliefs. I do think the US President Trump should do something with the gun laws, it seems any nut job can get hold of guns or explosive materials. On the subject of Trump, his ‘fake news’ thing, I say stop picking on CNN, they just report what comes from you, your tweets. In the UK Ofcom revoked Fox News broadcast license for not doing things right with the UK elections. I guess the world will at some point be calm and safe…. But probably not in my life time   @CNN @realDonaldTr

So Trump is in the UK now, #protests are taking place in London and elsewhere around the UK. While I wish I was there, I’m putting my words here to show how I feel. Trump and his “I’m the U.S. president, obay me” attitude.  He is a #TwoFaced person with a wrecking ball that he is swinging. Bossing European countries about, telling Germany who they should and shouldn’t get their gas from, yet his is going to meet #Putin and wants #Russia to get back in with the G7. The U.S. / Mexico border with children being taken from their parents, so far they have not finished getting the kids back with their families. Banning people, from some countries from entering the USA, including North Korea who he is trying to get chummy with.  He has told #TheSun that immigration is costing us our culture... hello get your own country in shape first! As for #Brexit , Trump wants the UK to have a clean break with Europe so the USA can have ties without the EU, hey Trump, let our governme
